OWNERSHIP

Make maintenance part of the plan.

The most useful maintenance schedule is the one written for your actual equipment and water.

Keep a system record

Save model numbers, commissioning results, settings, warranty documents and service dates. These make future troubleshooting more useful.

Follow the documented schedule

Use the selected manufacturer’s instructions for salt, filters, cleaning and service. A generic calendar cannot replace model-specific requirements.

Private well owners

EPA recommends annual testing for total coliform bacteria, nitrates, total dissolved solids and pH, with additional testing when conditions warrant. Use an appropriate certified laboratory.
